The Warehouse

by Rob Hart

In a near-future dystopia, Cloud is the ultimate corporate overlord—a vast, controlling entity that offers employment and shelter within its climate-controlled megastructure. Paxton, an everyman coping with economic collapse, reluctantly joins Cloud seeking stability. However, beneath the corporate sheen lies a sinister side, and he becomes ensnared in a complex web of intrigue. Zinnia, an undercover operative, infiltrates Cloud with the mission to expose its nefarious underbelly. Their fates entwine in a dangerous dance; ambition, betrayal, and a fight for humanity's soul ensue. The stakes skyrocket when they uncover the price of convenience and the cost of their corporate allegiance. 'The Warehouse' is a cautionary tale of technology and capitalism gone amok, revealing the grim costs of surrendering to a surveillance state.
