On her forty-fifth birthday, podcaster Alix Summer meets her birthday twin, Josie Fair, at a local pub. As fortune would have it, their paths cross again, and Josie, a regular listener of Alix's true crime podcast, suggests she might be a worthy topic for the show. Although Josie's enigmatic life and demeanor unsettle Alix, she is drawn to explore the mystery further.
