The Drowning Woman

by Robyn Harding

Lee Gulliver's life spirals down to homelessness after her restaurant fails. Seeking solace in a hidden Seattle beach, she witnesses Hazel, a distraught woman, attempting to drown herself. Lee's intervention marks the beginning of a complex relationship with Hazel, who is yearning for an escape from her abusive marriage. As their friendship deepens, Hazel begs Lee for help to disappear, promising simplicity. However, Lee quickly realizes the treacherous web woven around them, where deception blurs lines of trust and friendship. Loyalties are tested and dangers mount as both women confront the sinister forces and internal demons shaping their lives.
