Photographer Jo Ellen Hathaway's past ensnares her in a chilling web when she is haunted by mysterious photographs, including a disturbing image of her long-deceased mother. Returning to the Sanctuary, the island resort run by her estranged family, Jo grapples with painful memories and uncertain relationships. Engulfed in the tense atmosphere of the Southern inn, she must ally with Nathan Delaney to unearth grim truths. However, as they draw closer to revealing the darkness lurking within and around them, they realize that the Sanctuary may be more perilous than any of them could have imagined.
